Harbor Agent
The brief
A custom agent for a Canadian import/export freight company, built to fit the workflow they already had.
Freight forwarding arrives as an inbox. Quotes, booking confirmations, customs paperwork and carrier updates all land as messages, and the day’s work is reading them, answering them, and filing what they carry against the right shipment.
The agent takes that first pass. It reads the inbox and drafts replies for a human to approve. The approval step is the design rather than a limitation. It files and schedules invoices, tracks shipments across carriers, and keeps every document tied to the project it belongs to.
Result
- The agent drafts the reply; nothing leaves the inbox until a person has signed it off. Every message is a real company's commitment to its own customer.
- Shipments are tracked through one integration rather than one browser tab per carrier.
- Invoices are filed and scheduled, and every document stays tied to the project it belongs to instead of the thread it arrived in.
- Invoices are detected in the inbox as they arrive, linked to the project they belong to, and given a reminder on the dashboard against the date the payment falls due.
